As an Italian in London, Mauro Remiddi, aka Porcelain Raft, started off scoring short films before turning his attention to songs of heartbreak made of keyboards and subtle electronics with a psychedelic flair. Remiddi is more lost boy than rock man but his bleary, blissed-out songs will have fans of dreamy pop clinging to him
His debut LP, Strange Weekend, is out January 24 in the U.S. and a day before in the UK. Unless You Speak From Your Heart is the second single to be taken from the album.
