Toronto four-piece Bravestation are Devin Wilson, Derek Wilson, Andrew Heppner and Jeremy Rossetti. They combine the ambient textures and spaced-out guitars of New Wave with colourful harmonies and tribal percussion.
Bravestation released a self-recorded/produced EP in 2010, which i(heart)music called “one of the best albums of the year…occupying a space somewhere between The National and The Killers,” and Dazed & Confused described as “sounding like a blend of Foals, Yeasayer and Local Natives”.
Signs of the Civilized is taken from the upcoming debut album Giants & Dreamers, out on July 10.
