Frankie Rose – Know Me

Frankie Rose is a vocalist, songwriter and musician living in Brooklyn, NY.

After putting in time with the Vivian Girls (serving as the band’s drummer and writing Where Do You Run To), Crystal Stilts and the Dum Dum Girls, Rose decided to work on her own material, a series of luminous, reverb-slicked indie pop tunes. She released her first single for the song Thee Only One on Slumberland Records in 2009 under Frankie Rose and the Outs, and followed up in 2010 with a full length album under the same moniker. As of 2010 she is performing as Frankie Rose.

Know Me is taken from her album Interstellar, out now.

Hot Panda – Future Markets

Hot Panda is a Canadian indie rock band formed in 2006 based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. They’re named after a Chinese restaurant in Edmonton.

The band was formed after Chris Connelly and Maghan Campbell returned from living abroad in Oslo. Invigorated by the Scandinavian music scene, they started producing their rowdy mash-up between the UK’s pop-loving supergrass, the rawness of Iggy Pop and the gritty danciness of Ukraine’s Gogol Bordello.

Future Markets is taken from their third full-length album, Go Outside.

The Dig – I Already Forgot Everything You Said

The Dig are an indie rock band from NYC. Their music, written by the bands’ three main songwriters, draws on influences from early rock and roll and rural folk and blues to new wave and modern rock bands.

The band’s two singers Emile Mosseri and David Baldwin have been making music in various bands together since they were 11 years old. They met up with keyboardist/guitarist Erick Eiser while still in high school, and after writing music together throughout college they eventually moved to New York City and formed The Dig.

The Dig got their start in the lower east side of NYC in 2008, and spent their first summer handing out flyers on the street, slowly building up an audience one fan at a time. After 8 weeks of residencies at Pianos and a handful of support shows at Bowery Ballroom, they began to sell out shows on their own.

I Already Forgot Everything You Said is taken from the album Midnight Flowers.
